As a leftie, Shar's probably struggled with (at least):
Computer mouses
Cameras
Guitars
Can openers
Sports equipment, eg. Baseball gloves
Driving stick
Handguns and bolt action rifles (WR only)
Pencil sharpeners
Ice cream scoops
Scissors
Video game controllers
Etc.
Self-image/Beliefs
Sharpay hates her name: She's convinced she was named after the dog, and she always gets called Sharpie. The only reason she doesn't change it is because it's really distinctive, which she thinks will come in handy when she gets famous one day.
She seriously judges people for swearing.
She believes that big passionate Nicholas Sparksesque love exists in the real world and despite herself wonders if Troy and Gabriella have it. However, with her luck with boys, she doesn't think she'll find it. She's okay with this, because she figures her Broadway career will be too demanding for her to have a proper relationship.
Annie Oakley is her hero (off the stage, at least; Amber Lee Adams is her theater idol). She was the first female star in America! And she built her career on showing off her own skills, not being a prop to make some boy look better.
Life experience
She never did a chore in her life until Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure (or ending up in games).
She also never entered dance competitions, talent quests, beauty pageants, or anything of the sort as a kid. Haha, like she needed to prove herself to them. (This is why she took Gabriella and Troy getting callbacks so hard: She never had any competition for that since kindergarten.)
The Evans family has very rarely visited New York City. Sharpay ♥ NY: More fashionable people than in Albuquerque, more theater, more more more of all that imported stuff she likes, more to do in general. And yet she's actually kind of scared of the big city, because it's so much bigger than Albuquerque and there are so many more people.
Sharpay is bored by her own town and envies her parents' random trips all over the world. She and Ryan only get to go during actual vacations because their parents didn't want to interrupt their schooling.
The Evanses are Disney Vacation Club members. Sharpay's favorite DLC resort is Saratoga Springs, and her favorite park is Hollywood Studios for all the shows.
Because Ryan was so good at baseball, it's the only spectator sport Sharpay likes and actually understands. Take her out to the ball game and she'll be backseat coaching.
Sharpay's daily rituals include an elaborate skincare regime and yoga.
Relationships
Her interest in Troy was just about status: He was top jock and the best looking boy in school. Her interest in Zeke was about cookies, but it did help that he was a jock too.
It's Ryan, not their parents, who has final veto power over Sharpay's boyfriends. She doesn't particularly care if their parents disapprove of a boyfriend, but if Ryan doesn't like him, toodles.
Sharpay expresses her love in song and dance through deeds and touch, and by easing up on her usual ridiculously high expectations.
The future
The University of Albuquerque is the Evans' legacy school. Darby Evans, Sharpay's mom, is from Louisiana and met Vance Evans and Michelle Leverett at U of A. Sharpay does not want to go.
She's actually aware that Juilliard does not have a musical theater program, and planned to major in drama. Though her family could definitely afford the tuition fees, she was determined to go on scholarship because that would mean she was more talented than the rest of the plebs there. Dumb move.
Past high school, she thinks she'll end up with someone from old Southwest/Southern money like herself.
If she ever gets married, Sharpay thinks she'll take her husband's surname, but probably still use Evans onstage. Her kids would use her husband's surname too.
Speaking of kids, if she has them, they're not going to get ridiculous names like her own. She doesn't want to inflict a lifetime of jokes and mispronunciations on them.
Physical
Tendency to underplay minor injuries.
She doesn't drink often (alcohol isn't great for the voice), but when she does, she doesn't touch beer; she likes sweet drinks, like ridiculous cocktails, rosé, and dessert wines. Because she drinks so infrequently, she really can't hold her alcohol. She's generally a mean drunk, ranging from snark to "I HATE YOU" and hitting people she actually really likes, and she doesn't remember any of it the next day. Sometimes she falls down a lot too.
If she's not doing too much in the morning, Sharpay likes having brunch instead of breakfast and lunch. She eats very balanced, non- or low fat, organic ingredients where possible, soy instead of lactose, and white meat over red.
Yoga is Sharpay's never fail method of recharging when she's feeling drained. Massages work well too. (She usually turns to singing first, but the problem with this is that she can also use it to wallow.)
Turn-ons: Necking (her neck is very sensitive), a little stubble, topping, private places other than the bedroom.
Turn-offs: Public places, partner wearing something weird, smoking.
The arts
The twins had an agent (stage show canon) but didn't get much if any work because their parents preferred they focus on their education and wouldn't let them miss school for jobs.
She took Spanish classes at East High and was pretty average at it, mostly because her accent's terrible. She's a little better with the random French she's picked up from her mom.
Once upon a time Sharpay had a bit of a New Mexico accent. She learnt the general American accent from TV and musical soundtracks. Southern is the only accent she can credibly fake.
She can sight read singing, but she's much better at learning by ear, and only can play just enough piano to pick out her vocal lines. Clearly Ryan got all the piano talent in the family.
"Humuhumunukunukuapua'a", at least the lyrics if not the music, was written by her. She's aware that it's not as good as Kelsi's work but she still thinks it's fantastic. It tells a story! They get together in the end! All you need.
She also wrote the lyrics of "Shine". It was one of the first non-school numbers she's done that wasn't choreographed by Ryan, so it felt weird.
Pop music, especially if it's danceable, is her guilty pleasure genre that she'll actually admit to, justifying it as stuff she can dance to. Country is the one she'll never admit to; catch her singing along and she'll deny it ("Taylor Swift's on the radio all the time I can't help but hear her whiny music :| :| :|").
Sharpay has had training in ballet, jazz, and tap. Tap's her favorite (even though she's not actually very good at it) but she's best at jazz. She's gotten to character dancing in her ballet classes but she hasn't gone en pointe.
Curtain call is the height of happiness to her. Friends, a really great outfit, nothing else comes close. It was how she realized her love for theater, because she'd always liked playing pretend, but when she did it onstage, everyone loved her.
Her dream role is Galinda from Wicked...but she knows she doesn't have the range. So she'd also quite like to play Joan in Dames at Sea.
Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, Sharpay would start practising her autograph.
Fashion
Sharpay never repeats an outfit.
Most people probably haven't seen her without makeup on.
Her favorite fashion blog is Refinery29. She strongly prefers street style blogs from the big cities full of people wearing improbable combinations of designer clothes over small town low budget outfit of the day blogs.
She sometimes steals Ryan's accessories.
The twins developed their style together, but Sharpay plays it safer while Ryan takes more risks. So any time you see her wearing something weird, it was with Ryan's encouragement.
Sometimes, she uses hair extensions.
Favorites
Though she prefers strong female roles over The Love Interest, Sharpay secretly adores a sappy, dramatic, Nicholas Sparksesque romance in any medium.
In literature she tends to prefer historical romances, the more overwrought and forbidden the love, the better. She claims her favorite genre is biographies, and it's actually her second favorite: She likes reading about royalty (her dad does call her Princess after all) and people who did great things from small beginnings. She has also read pretty much any book that's been adapted into a musical, and most of the time, she thinks the musical is better.
The Notebook is her favorite film, with Moulin Rouge! coming a close second. Halloween is her favorite holiday, because, like the theater, she can be anyone she wants to be instead of just Sharpay. Her favorite costume was Annie Oakley, (toy) rifle and all; she's also dressed up as Marie Antoinette, complete with wig.
If you don't count her and Ryan's birthday as a holiday (she gets presents and doesn't have to get anyone but Ryan presents!), her next favorite is actually Thanksgiving. She'll claim it's because of all the thankful stuff and family, but actually she just likes the food.
Her favorite season is summer: No school, and frankly she's better at dressing when she doesn't have to layer.
She will never admit that Zeke's cookies are pretty high up there in her favorite foods. What she will admit to is filled paninis, organic ingredients, of course.
Sharpay watches a bit of baseball and supports the Rockies.
